In the 3 minutes that I've spent not thinking about racing over the past few weeks, I've been thinking about how to best install a computer in my car. Frankly I am shocked at just how bad the options are. Several companies are selling "DIN-sized" PCs in the US. Typically they are based on Travla C134 type cases. Some vendors are bundling complete systems with a headunit-style face for big bucks. These cases do not have proper in-dash mounting brackets and so far as I can tell nobody makes them. ... (more)
