Charles Mary Kubricht rafted 280 miles down the Colorado River through the majestic Grand Canyon. Surrounded by the canyon walls, she snapped digital photos of the rising cliffs, the running water, and followed the light as each hour changed. Burning sun at noon. The afternoon deepening from white-hot to mellowing shadows. And finally, the cool moon and the navy-blue black ink of midnight.
