Rockstar:INXS - worldwide popularity?

I will admit to watching the show. The competition and behind-the-scenes stuff is negligible but Tuesdays at 9, CBS has an hour concert of classic rock standards and I enjoy watching that. Every mention I see of the show in the media relates to it as low-rated. In the FAQ at the site, among the voting instructions are
