Google has been indexing the closed captioning for several Bay Area stations since December, and have now launched their Video Search Beta. The search results will give you a list of the shows that contain your search terms, and the details page will show screenshots of what was going on when those words were uttered. You can even see a listing of when the show will be replayed.
The plan here, I guess, is to get to the point where you can search for text that appeared in any show that was aire ... (more)
